Programming
Tau Delta Phi is a very interactive fraternity in that we offer programs to our membership frequently. The following are some is a list of programs that we run as a fraternity.
Feeding America Month
This takes place every November at our Chapters and Colonies, and is in support of our National Philanthropy, Feeding America. Feeding America is the leading domestic hunger relief charity in the United States. We align ourselves with our philanthropy throughout the year, but we do so especially in November, in honor of Thanksgiving and to help those who are starving.
The Tau Delta Phi National Convention
This is an alumni and undergraduate reunion, as well as a business meeting held every two years (in even number years), our 100th anniversary was held in 2010 in Atlantic City, NJ, and our 2012 will be held in Washington, DC. For more information you can visit http://convention2012.taudelt.net
The Pyramid Leadership Institute
This is held every year at the end of the winter break or very beginning of the spring semester. Our active members and alumni come out in droves for a day of fun, education, leadership development and fraternal networking.
The Tau Delta Phi Canoe Trip
This event has been held every year for the last thirty years in Narrowsburg, NY on Memorial Day Weekend. Tau Delts from every chapter and colony, and many alumni, come out to camp, canoe, grill, and generally have fun.
The Tau Delta Phi Pig Roast
This event is held the Saturday before Memorial Day in Spring Valley, New York. It’s an intro BBQ (and yes we do roast a WHOLE 125 lb. PIG) to the festivities of the summer.
