An Analysis of College Men’s Behavior & Strategies to Make Better Choices

Cory has had years of experience with Greek Life. She is currently the Coordinator for Substance Abuse/
Violence Awareness at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She has also served as the Faculty Advisor for the
Inter Greek Senate, the governing body for Greek Organizations. Later, she served as Faculty Advisor
to Tau Delta Phi Fraternity’s Delta Iota Chapter. Cory is going to be speaking on Risky Behaviors that
College Men choose to engage in, explore why men choose to engage in risky behavior, and discuss how
college men can learn to make better choices.

Thea is the Assistant Director of Greek Life and Wellness at the New Jersey Institute of Technology .
Through this program, participants will be able to gain a greater understanding on what is meant
by developmental programming and why it has made a successful mark on many other national
organizations. She will pull out transferrable information and share insight into other programs that are
currently in practice.
Creating a Successful Public Relations Program That Moves Beyond “No Comment”

Connie has served as the National Director of Public Relations for Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority,
Inc. She is also the beloved spouse of PGC Shaun Armhold, and Senior Graphic Designer at Western
Asset Management. Connie will be discussing how to build a positive public relations program around
the constructive things that your chapter does, as well as how to engage in branding of the Tau Delta Phi
experience. She will also discuss how to handle public relations in the chapter when things don’t go so
well, specifically how to handle the media and social media.

Taking Your DiSC training to the Next Level

The DiSC personality inventory is an effective method for providing insight into the characteristics of
yourself and others. Assistant Director of Membership Education Joseph Rios will recap the basics of
the DiSC, and then provide instructions on best practices for leading, following, and working with each
personality type…this training will build upon the first training you have had in the DiSC by teaching you
more strategies and a deeper self-understanding of your DiSC personality type.
Fraternity Recruitment: A Case Study of the Successful Implementation of Dynamic Recruitment at
the Tau Epsilon Chapter

Hazing: The History, Psychology, and Law of Greek Brutality
